Training & Recovery FAQs

Dynamic Personal Training is Life Time’s unique philosophy, which can be applied to any modality of training. Dynamic training is a fully engaged training experience where our trainer provides manual resistance, support, coaching, and cueing to the member creating a physical, mental, and emotional connection in a supportive trainer-client relationship.

We have Trainer Bios available for you to access on the Life Time Digital member app! Booking through the digital app is very easy, and allows you to select the trainer and time that works best for you! To book your session this way, start on the home screen of your app. From there, scroll down to the Dynamic Personal Training tile on the home page and select that option. Once in that Dynamic Personal Training tile, select the session type you are most interested in doing. From there, you will be prompted to “Book a Session”. From there, you can select a day and time you are looking to book from the calendar and view trainers available at those times. The trainers bios will list their specialties, however they are all wonderful and the best in the business!

Meet your Certified Stretch Specialist at the Dynamic Stretch tables in the recovery area of your club. Arrive 5 minutes early to get the most out of your session without added stress.

For Dynamic Stretch, please wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely and clean socks.

The HydroMassage and CryoLounge chairs are dry therapy, meaning you are fully clothed during the session. Wear comfortable clothing and socks (you will remove your shoes).

The CryoLounge, HydroMassage and Normatec devices require reservations at select clubs. Visit the “Dynamic Stretch + Recovery” tile on the Life Time app to learn more about what’s available at your club and make a reservation if needed.

In most clubs, all equipment in the recovery area is first come, first served — no reservations are required.

For Hyperice tools, consider downloading the Hyperice app for guided sessions. The CryoLounge, HydroMassage and Normatec devices use intuitive touch screens to activate and adjust the machines. Select clubs have a recovery coordinator on staff to assist you.
