Why stretch?

Improved flexibility

Lengthening muscles improves range of motion—how far you can move your joints in different directions—allowing you to move freely.

Better circulation

Blood vessels work more efficiently to bring oxygen to the muscles, reducing recovery time and soreness.

Injury and pain prevention

Reduce risking your routine with injury by promoting flexibility, enhancing muscle resilience and improving overall joint function

optimal performance

Enhanced joint movement and flexibility boosts athletic ability, allowing plenty of room for improvement.

Less Stress

It’s a biological reflex to tighten up when stressed. Reduce stress and all its impacts by dedicating time to stretch.

Better Balance, Posture & Alignment

All the result of longer, stronger stretched-out muscles.

Extended Longevity

Boosts coordination, balance and strength for people with MS, Parkinsons and similar conditions.

Faqs

Meet your Certified Stretch Specialist at the Dynamic Stretch tables in the recovery area of your club. Arrive 5 minutes early to get the most out of your session without added stress.

For Dynamic Stretch, please wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely and clean socks.

The HydroMassage and CryoLounge chairs are dry therapy, meaning you are fully clothed during the session. Wear comfortable clothing and socks (you will remove your shoes).

The CryoLounge, HydroMassage and Normatec devices require reservations at select clubs. Visit the “Dynamic Stretch + Recovery” tile on the Life Time app to learn more about what’s available at your club and make a reservation if needed.

In most clubs, all equipment in the recovery area is first come, first served — no reservations are required.

For Hyperice tools, consider downloading the Hyperice app for guided sessions. The CryoLounge, HydroMassage and Normatec devices use intuitive touch screens to activate and adjust the machines. Select clubs have a recovery coordinator on staff to assist you.
